All About Mrs. Kolarich
What a joy it is to watch young students learn and grow! I have had the privilege to work with so many wonderful children and families here at BGS. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, third grade, fourth grade, 6-7-8th grade language arts as well as served as the reading specialist/coach. I graduated from Bradley University with a degree in Elementary Education and have a master's degree from Walden University in the area of early reading and literacy. This year marks my 20th year at BGS and my second year teaching kindergarten! Kindergarten is a very special place.
When I am not teaching I am spending time with my family. My husband and I live in Hanna City with our two children and many pets(dog, fish, snake, lizzard, guinea pig, and sometimes foster dogs!). I grew up in Bartonville and was a BGS graduate. Our oldest is in high school. He gave up his football career this summer to take on his first job. He still has fun and devotes all his spare time to motocross racing. Our daughter, who will be going into junior high, loves animals, plays the piano and loves hearing stories about "all things kindergarten." She dreams of becoming a vet, therefore our fostering is a great service project for her. I feel very fortunate to be part of the BGS staff and families this year and know it is going to be an amazing year ahead! I am looking forward to a year filled with lots of learning, laughter, and love! |
